This utility creates simulated job data and stores it in a text file that can be imported into Job Manager.
This version is automatic, using pre-defined rules. Click here for a manual version.
Fresh data is generated each time you click the Create Data button.
A summary of the key events appears below.
Notes
The data is randomized within certain constraints. For example, the maximum job depth is between 8,000 and 12,000ft. There may be 1, 2 or 3 stages (treatments) per job, and each stage may have up to 3 'passes' across the same zone. The shortest possible job will therefore have one pass, whereas the longest will have nine. Some artificial noise is applied to the pipe speed and pressure data for greater realism. A 10 sec sample time is used. Weight checks are performed periodically during RIH.
The purpose of this utility is to generate large quantities of realistic input data for testing and training purposes, specifically in conjunction with the Cerberus coiled tubing fatigue module.
